Refund Policy

This policy applies to one-time CivicNest Complete purchases made through Stripe Checkout. Government filing fees are never collected by CivicNest and are not refundable through this policy.
What you purchase
A CivicNest purchase unlocks software to prepare a specific USCIS form, including review and PDF download. CivicNest does not file with USCIS and does not provide legal advice.
The price shown at checkout is the CivicNest software fee. USCIS filing fees, biometrics fees, and courier costs are separate.
When we refund
If you have not generated a completed PDF, you may request a refund of the CivicNest software fee within 14 days of payment by emailing hello@civicnest.app.
If a completed PDF was generated or downloaded, the purchase is generally non-refundable because the software deliverable was provided. We may still refund at our discretion for duplicate charges or clear technical failure.
How to request a refund
Email hello@civicnest.app from the account email used at checkout. Include your CivicNest purchase ID from the payment confirmation page. Do not include Social Security numbers, A-numbers, or form answers.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe.
Disputes
If you open a chargeback with your bank, we may share purchase, entitlement, and usage evidence with Stripe. Opening a dispute does not increase the refund you would receive under this policy.
